TEHRAN (IRIB) -- Head of Majlis Training and Research Commission, Ali-Abbaspur Tehrani-Fard in a meeting with the new German Ambassador to Tehran, Herbert Honosowitz, Sunday declared the interest of Iranian universities and higher educational centers in close cooperation with German universities.

According to a report released by Majlis Media Department, he called for facilitating the visit of Iranian researchers and members of faculties of national universities to Germany to attend scientific meetings without being subject to political fluctuations.

At the meeting, cooperation and expansion of bilateral relations in training and scientific domains were also on the agenda of talks.

For his part, the German diplomat pointed to the long history of cooperation between the two sides in various scientific, cultural and economic sectors and expressed the interest of his country in expansion of such bonds.
